Inspiration

This artwork is inspired by gorgeous Lake Clark National Park and Preserve located in Port Alsworth, Alaska. It was first proclaimed a national monument in 1978, then established as a national park and preserve in 1980 by the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.

 

About the Artwork

This painting is landscape artwork painted in simplified impressionistic style similar to other ones in the series of landscapes. Bhavna chose to paint this as a noon scene for bright sunlight effect and resulting dynamic colors.

The rich brushstrokes are loaded with paint and offer a delightful viewing experience in person.

 

About the Artist

Bhavna is a San Francisco based independent artist and an art educator trying to make a difference through her passion for arts and love for teaching.

An engineer by training, she quit her nine-to-five job to pursue her lifelong dream of artmaking and sharing whatever little she’s learnt along her journey  .

 

She regularly shows her work in group and solo shows and also offers workshops and live demonstration for art organizations as well as in in private and corporate settings.

 

Status of Painting

This painting is sold. But the prints are available in multiple sizes. It is printed on hi quality giclee on canvas with black sides.

Most popular sizes are 14 inch square, starting at $50.00, 16 x 20 inch at $75.00.
